Eligibility Criteria for the WB Student Credit Card Scheme 2022

WB Student Credit Card Scheme is a project of the World Bank. Some general requirements have been imposed to benefit this plan so that only poor students can profit from it. Read on to find out more about the circumstances that have arisen so far in the form of WB Student Credit Cards Eligibility.

• This scheme’s benefits would only be available to West Bengal students.
• This scheme’s benefits will only be available for academic purposes. You are not permitted to use this money for any other purpose.
• Only students in grades 11 and up will be eligible for education loans.
• The loan must be repaid 15 years after starting the work.
• This loan can be used to cover both institutional and non-institutional expenditures.
• Students will have to pay a nominal simple interest rate of 4% for this loan.
• Students can obtain a loan of up to ten lakh rupees using the issued WB Student Credit Card.
• The student’s age taking out the loan should not be greater than 40 years.
• This loan can be provided to learners in order to oblige them in preparing for national-level competitive assessments.
• You will be offered the option of extending the loan to study for examinations such as IITs, IIMs, NLUs, IAS, IPS, and WBPS.

Apply Online for West Bengal Student Credit Card Scheme 2022

Eligible students who want to apply online for the West Bengal Student Card Scheme must first register on the WBSCC’s official website. A few instructions and resources are provided below:

Then, eligible students can apply for WBSCC online by completing these steps:

1. But, first, go to the WBSCC’s official website (Department of Higher Education West Bengal).

1. Then, once on the homepage, go to the main menu and select the “Student Registration” option.

1. The new page is shown in your system after you click on it.
2. The candidate must enter personal information like 

• address, 
• Aadhar No., 
• DOB, 
• Contact Details, 
• password, 
• educational qualification, 

5. After providing all of the required information, select the “Register” button. 
6. To finish the application process, login with the Application ID and Password.
7. Fill in the forms with the relevant paperwork and attach any additional documentation.
8. Verify the information on the Online Application and proceed with the scheme’s Final Submission.
9. Make a hard copy for reference purposes.

After Registration Student can login on the portal, to do so you have to clock on Student Login button on the home page of the Website.

A new page will be open which will be looks like below. Now enter Application ID, Password and captcha code.

Now click on Login button, After that dashboard of your application will appear and you have to fill following details

• Personal details

• Co borrower details

• Present address details

• Permanent address details

• Course and income details

• Bank details of the student

After above information you have enter few more required information, After entering all the data click on submit application. A dialogue box will appear before you with message that you want to confirm to submit or not.

Click on yes, your application will be submitted.

Administrative Login

College/university administrative also can do the login from its official portal. Separate link on the portal provided to them. To do so admin staff have to visit to the website and click on the provided link .

After that Select user type from the given data. Now enter User name and password followed by given captcha.

State Level User, Department level user ,institute, bank and district level user can login on the Portal.
